Thanks

Every line here rests on someone else’s reporting.

Backwoods writes nothing it cannot link. The documents it links were written by health agencies, governments and newsrooms. This is the list of who they are, counted from the pages as they stood on 31 October 2026: 140 distinct source links across the board and the three ledgers.

Health authorities and aid

The first word on outbreaks, and the risk lines for readers at home.

Governments, militaries and agencies

Official statements on the record.

Wire services and newsrooms

The named outlets behind every line marked Reported, and much of the context around the confirmed ones.

Research and analysis

Support them

If a ledger helped you, the people who did the reporting are the ones to thank. These outlets and groups on the list ask readers for support directly.

Something broken? Something wrong?

Backwoods is built by Cosmic Builders. If a page breaks, a link dies, or a line does not say what its document says, write to us. Screenshots help.
